“Please, live!  Road safety” was recognized as one of the best social projects in the country

On March 11, MMR summed up the X-RAY Marketing Awards. It identified projects and companies that, in difficult times of quarantine restrictions, remained "in touch" with customers and continued to work effectively. OKKO project “Please, live! Road Safety” was recognized as one of the best in the nomination "Social Project of the Year ".

The winners of the X-RAY Marketing Awards were determined by the organizing committee, online audience and expert jury.

“OKKO's work is directly related to road users, which is why their safety has been a key area of our social initiatives for many years”, - comments Yaroslava Poliakova, the Head of OKKO’s corporate communications department.

We will remind that the company systematically works with problems of safety on the road since 2014, having begun the project “Please, live! Road safety”. During the existence of the project, OKKO worked on issues of non-use of seat belts and child car seats by drivers, the problem of using smartphones and other gadgets while driving, etc.

In 2020, the project was held under the slogan "Please, shine!" and was devoted to the problem of non-use of reflective elements while driving in the dark. As part of the first stage of the campaign, a social video was broadcast for three days on the building of the National Library named after V.I. Vernadsky (Kyiv), and as part of the second stage, the company held a national Olympiad among schoolchildren. Students made social videos about the importance of using reflectors and posted them on social networks. More than 100 schools took part in the competition. In the final, three winners were identified who received awards from OKKO and sets of reflective elements for their schools.
