As part of its business diversification strategy, OKKO Group acquired an industrial photovoltaic (PV) plant in 2023. At the beginning of 2025, the Holding plans to launch the first stage of the project - a 20 MW energy storage system. The start of the next stage with a similar capacity is scheduled in 2025.
Additionally, the company is constructing a 150 MW wind farm, with investments projected to reach approximately $85-90 million by the end of 2024.
In May 2025, the company plans to receive the first turbines and commence the installation. 25 turbines of the Group's first wind farm will be installed in 2026. Furthermore, the company has acquired a new 185 MW wind farm project, slated for development following the launch of the initial facility.
The company is investing about USD 120 million in the construction of a bioethanol plant. The company will process about 250,000 tons of corn per year. In 2024, the company will order equipment, carry out preparatory and general construction work, build a 60,000-ton elevator, warehouses, and develop all the necessary infrastructure.
In 2025-2026, the company plans to build a plant and a facility for the production of high-protein animal feed additives (Dried distillers grain with solubles - DDGS) from waste.
In the second half of 2026, the company will start producing bioethanol. The plant's capacity is about 83,000 tons of bioethanol per year.
