In the third quarter of 2024 customers of the OKKO network collected more than 58 tons of used items, which were donated to help the poor and affected by the war people. Over 9 months of 2024 more than 140 tons of clothes, shoes, and bed linen were collected in special collection containers in total.
The collected items were handed over to charity and help centers in Kharkiv region, for residents of the de-occupied territories of Kyiv region, homeless people in Kyiv and Lviv regions, internally displaced people and low-income people in different regions, and large families in Vinnytsia region.
26 special containers are located at OKKO filling stations in six cities: Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, Dnipro, Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia, the addresses of which can be found on the company's website. Anyone can join the collection by leaving clean and packed items, proper for further usage.
The project of collecting used items has been operating for over 11 years already and is currently implemented in cooperation with charitable organizations such as Emmaus-Oselya, Ukraine Without Borders, and Good Samaritan. These organizations collect, sort and distribute items to those who need help the most.
