In June, Russian drones attacked two OKKO tank farms. There were no casualties, but the explosions and fires completely destroyed the fuel tanks, infrastructure and administrative premises. According to preliminary estimates, the company's losses amount to USD 8.5 million.
"To ensure our further safety, we have now decided to switch to working on wheels, i.e. without accumulating fuel at the oil depots. Our own vehicle fleet allows us to do this so that our customers do not experience any interruptions in supply. We are also considering leasing terminals in Ukraine's neighboring countries. Our company has once again suffered serious losses as a result of targeted shelling, but we do not stop working. Our support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in particular within the framework of the "OKO za OKO" project, remains unchanged,"COMMENTED YURIY KUCHABSKY, OKKO’s VICE PRESIDENT.
We remind that during 2022-2024, a tangible amount of the company's tank farms and filling stations were destroyed or b badly maged. The total amount of losses for the OKKO group of companies as of today is USD 70 million.
