OKKO fuel network continues to equip its stations with solar power plants (SPP), which are installed on the roofs of station control rooms. This gives possibility to partly offset the electricity intake of station’s own needs.
As of the beginning of October, 100 of such SPPs are already operating and several more are now under construction.
This year, the largest number of new solar power plants appeared in Lviv region - 14, and 6 more SPPs were opened in the Vinnytsia, Zakarpattia and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. In total, in 15 regions of Ukraine there are OKKO’s solar stations that generate electricity. The power of the stations is from 15 to 50 kW.
In 2022, 65 rooftop SPPs in OKKO network produced 1.7 million kWh of electricity, helping the company to save more than UAH 7 million cost if purchase electricity from outer sources.
The total amount of investments that OKKO company has set for the construction of rooftop SPPs in 2023 is approximately UAH 40 million.
