OKKO network continues to equip its fuel stations with solar power plants, which are installed on the roof of the operator's office and on the roof above fuel dispensers that aims to provide partial electricity and cover the own needs of stations, saving on purchases on the energy market.
Rooftop SPPs are already operating at 140 OKKO stations, 14 of which were put into operation in January-February 2024.
In 2023, OKKO network was replenished with 60 new SPPs. The largest number of them was installed in Lviv region – 16. Also, 13 systems were installed in Ivano-Frankivsk region, 12 – in Kyiv and Kyiv region, 6 – in Vinnytsia, 6 – in Zakarpattia, 3 – in Ternopil and 2 – in Chernivtsi, 1 - in Cherkasy and Khmelnitsky regions each.
In January-February, SPPs were installed at 10 gas stations in the city of Kyiv and 1 in the Kyiv region, 2 in the Zhytomyr region and 1 in Zakarpattia.
In 2024, OKKO plans to install SPP at another 50-70 fuel complexes. The proceedings over tenders and contracts conclusion with winners are currently underway, and then the installation process will begin.
