INITIATIVE "OKO ZA OKO 2": FIRST 53 MORTARS ARE HANDED TO TDF

OKKO fuel station network and "COME BACK ALIVE" Foundation continue to provide Ukrainian defenders with the weapons needed on the front lines.

As part of the joint initiative "OKO ZA OKO 2. Arm TDF to the teeth", they have already handed over to the soldiers 53 pcs of 82-mm mortars. This weapon can hit the enemy at a distance up to 4 km and it is effective both in offensive and counteroffensive actions. Thus, the 104th, 117th, 100th, 127th and 108th brigades of Territorial Defense have already received these mortars.

 The initiative "OKO ZA OKO 2. Arm TDF to the teeth" started in April 2023. Its goal is to accumulate a total of 400 million hryvnias for the purchase of 200 pcs. heavy machine guns of 12.7 mm calibre, 300 pcs.  mortars of 82 mm calibre and 100 pcs. automatic grenade launchers of 40 mm calibre for all units of the Defense Forces. As for the moment there are 31 brigades of Territorial defence forces (TDF).

In August 2023, OKKO and COME BACK ALIVE already closed the TDF’ urgent need for machine guns by handing them all 200 promised machine guns. Now the new batches of mortars and grenade launchers are expected to be manufactured, and this weapon will be distributed among the TDF units. At the same time, fundraising for the project is still ongoing. As of October 9^th, 85% of the required amount has already been collected – and it is more than UAH 343 million.

Every driver can join this initiative: all you have to do is to fill up with any Pulls brand fuel at OKKO station. 1 hryvnia from every liter of Pulls fuel sold at all OKKO fuel stations is transferred to the purcase of weapons for TDF.
