PUBLIC REPORT ON TAXES: PAID OVER UAH 3 BILLION IN THE FIRST QUARTER OF 2023

Under conditions of resistance to the aggressor, one of the main tasks of business is complete, transparent and timely payment of taxes. OKKO Group goes back to the practice of public quarterly and annual reporting of its tax payments. Accordingly, for the first quarter of 2023, the companies of the Group transferred a total of UAH 3.231 billion to budgets and state funds, which makes 0.51% of all revenues to the consolidated budget of Ukraine for this period.

UAH 837 million in these payments are taxes from operational activities: income tax, VAT (except for import duties paid on customs), retail excise tax, personal income tax, land tax, military levy, compulsory levy on state pension insurance. Overall, it makes 80.5% more than in the first three months of 2022. OKKO group companies also paid another UAH 2.394 billion of taxes on the import of goods.

If to speak about taxes payment from operational activities (without payments on customs clearance) per 1 liter of fuel sold or per 1 fuel station of our company, for the current period they are as follows:

1. for every liter of fuel sold in OKKO network, UAH 2.28 of operating taxes were paid. For comparison: a year ago, in the first quarter of 2022, this indicator was UAH 1.40 per 1 liter.
2. for the period January-March 2023, each OKKO fuel station receives an average of UAH 710.28 thousand per month in taxes and fees from operational activities, which is 87% more than in the same period last year.

"Every hryvnia paid to the budget is additional funds for strengthening the army, rebuilding infrastructure, and social support. Therefore, we are mobilizing all the resources to continue developing our business, work even more efficiently, get closer to victory and support our own, - COMMENTS NAZAR KUPIBIDA, CFO OF OKKO GROUP OF COMPANIES - And we are talking here not only about paying taxes - it is a must, but also about the company's constant involvement in various initiatives aimed at helping the Armed forces and Ukrainians who suffered from the war. As of the end of May, the company has already transferred UAH 750 million to such voluntary causes. And we don’t plan to stop."

In particular, as part of the "OKO ZA OKO" initiative together with "Come Back Alive" Foundation, the company accumulated UAH 325 million for the purchase of 25 unmanned reconnaissance complexes "SHARK" for the Armed forces; the next project "Arm TDF to the Teeth" is currently underway, aiming to raise UAH 400 million for armaments for territorial defense forces. As of today, 37% of the required sum has been collected. We remind that within the framework of both projects, the company transfers 1 hryvnia from each sold litre of Pulls fuel. In addition, the company continues to serve free treats to our defenders near combat zones, to provide volunteers with fuel, to participate in the reconstruction of educational institutions in Kyiv region, to purchase of vehicles for the military and medical personnel, to assist to the residents of the Kherson region who suffered from the blast of the Kakhovskaya HPP and other civilians who suffered in hostilities.
