OKKO'S PUBLIC REPORT ON TAXES: UAH 6.208 BILLION IN 6 MONTHS

OKKO Group continues its practice of public reports on tax payments and informs that in January-June 2023 paid UAH 6.208 billion of taxes and fees to state budgets and funds in total. This makes 0.41% of all revenues to the consolidated budget of Ukraine for the given period. It is nearly three time more than OKKO had paid for the same period in 2022, as it amounted about UAH 2.169 billion.

The sum of UAH 6.208 billion includes UAH 1.814 billion of TAXES FROM OPERATIONAL ACTIVITIES (meaning income tax, VAT - except for import duties, retail excise tax, personal income tax, land tax military levy, compulsory duty levy on state pension insurance), and UAH 4.395 billion of IMPORT TAXES.

In general, OKKO Group has paid to the budgets and funds UAH 0.976 billion of taxes and fees from operational activities for the second quarter of 2023, which is 16.56% more compared to the first quarter of 2023 (UAH 0.837 billion).

IN TOTAL, FOR APRIL - JUNE 2023, OKKO GROUP PAID UAH 3.027 BILLION TO THE BUDGET AND FUNDS OF TAXES AND FEES (for the first quarter of 2023 - UAH 3.181 billion).

Below you will find the figures of paid taxes from operational activities (not including taxes for customs clearance) per 1 liter of sold fuel or per 1 OKKO fuel station: 

INDICATORS FOR THE FIRST HALF OF 2023 ARE AS FOLLOWS:

1. For every liter of fuel sold in OKKO network, there was paid UAH 2.28 of operating taxes. For comparison: a year ago, in the first quarter of 2022, this indicator made UAH 1.85 per 1 liter.

1. Each OKKO fuel station for the period of January-June 2023 accounts for UAH 767.000 per month in taxes and fees from operational activities, (a year ago – 532.000 hryvnias per month).

INDICATORS FOR THE SECOND QUARTER OF 2023 ARE AS FOLLOWS:

1. OKKO network paid UAH 2.57 of operating taxes per each liter of fuel sold during this period. For comparison: in the 1st quarter of 2023, this indicator was UAH 2.28 per 1 liter;
2. Each fuel OKKO station for the period of April-June of the current year accounted for UAH 823.64 thousand of taxes and fees from operational activities every month (in the I quarter of the current year – UAH 710.28 thousand hryvnias per month).

"Our company persistently and purposefully stands for unified, fair and transparent taxation rules on the fuel market. We insisted on this even before the full-scale war. And today we consider that tax evasion or tax minimization is particularly inadmissible. After all, these funds are critically needed for Ukrainian defence and reconstruction, - SAID OKKO VICE PRESIDENT FOR FINANCE NAZAR KUPYBIDA - In addition to regularly paid taxes, we support Ukrainian defenders, volunteers, and local communities from the first days of the invasion. As of the end of July 2023, the amount of such support made over UAH 1 billion. And we would not stop our donations until the victory".

In addition to providing fuel for the needs of reconstruction of Kyiv and Chernihiv regions and overcoming the negative effects of Kakhovska HPP destruction; direct rebuilding of 4 educational institutions in Kyiv region, supporting the military at front-line stations with free meals – OKKO  company, together with "COME BACK ALIVE" Foundation, launched "OKO ZA OKO" initiative, due to which accumulated 325 million hryvnias for the purchase of 25 unmanned reconnaissance complexes "SHARK" for the Armed Forces. 19 out of 25 complexes are already working on the front line. Currently, the other project "Arm TDF to the teeth" is underway, aiming to accumulate 400 million hryvnias for armaments of territorial defence brigades. As of today, 65% of the required sum has already been collected.
