OKKO network signed a memorandum with the Lviv City Council, UNBROKEN charitable foundation and the professional HR community of Lviv, aiming to maximize the employment of war veterans and their integration into civil life.
In total, 27 businesses operating in Lviv joined the memorandum. Among them, there is "Concern Khlibprom" - another member of holding OKKO Group.
"348 employees of OKKO are currently defending Ukraine. For each of them, the company keeps the workplace and continues to pay salaries. And those who are has already demobilized, we cheerfully accept in the team with respect and gratitude to our heroes, - commented Yevgenia Kuzmynska, OKKO’s HRD. – In addition, long before the full-scale war, our company began to introduce barrier-free principles into our corporate standards. And recently, we have already cooperated with UNBROKEN fund over the question of inclusivity. In Fishka loyalty program, initiated by OKKO, we managed to collect more than UAH 30 million for the rehabilitation center; together with Uklon launched an inclusive class of taxi in Lviv. Therefore, our participation in this memorandum is a logical continuation of the responsible position of business.”
Within the framework of the memorandum, the participants plan to actively share their experience, implement joint projects and successful external practices – everything that will help people who have returned from the war to rejoin civil life and find appropriate work.
