During August 2-3, an online charity auction was held to sale two unique series of stamps created based on the sketches of Ukrainian artists who are currently serving in the Territorial defense forces. All the raised funds - which is 1120115.24 hryvnias - will be transferred to arm the TDF brigades via initiative "OKO za OKO 2. Arm TDF to the teeth", started together by OKKO network and “COME BACK ALIVE" Foundation.
The auction was conducted by the Head of the analytics department of "COME BACK ALIVE" foundation, Anton Muraveynyk on his twitter page. The two largest donations were - 370,000 hryvnias and 167,000 hryvnias.
The authors of the stamps are current soldiers of the Territorial defense forces Ruslan Pikhota and Tamara Polishchuk. The first artist depicted in the comic manner a typical path of TDF soldier - from the beginning of a full-scale war to the future victory.
Instead, illustration of Tamara Polishchuk - which is called "On the Road" - is an artistic fragment from the everyday military reality, showing not only Territorial defense soldiers, but also their four-legged friends. As a bonus each stamp sheet has a special code with video message from the authors.
We remind that, since April 11th, OKKO network and “COME BACK ALIVE” Foundation launched a joint initiative "OKO ZA OKO 2. Arm TDF to the teeth", aiming to purchase 300 pcs of 82 mm mortars, 200 pcs of heavy machine guns and 100 pcs of automatic 40-mm grenade launchers for all the TDF brigades that are currently protecting our state. The total cost of ammunition is UAH 400 million. OKKO network transfers 1 hryvnia from each sold litre of Pulls fuel.
