OKKO TO INSTALL ADBLUE PUMPS AT MORE THAN 100 STATIONS

OKKO network has started sale of AdBlue reagent directly into the car fuel tanks through special pumps. The first pump already works at a gas station near Lviv.

During February, pumps with AdBlue will appear at 5 other filling stations in Lviv and Rivne regions and over the current year the company plans to install them at more than 100 complexes throughout Ukraine. All AdBlue available at OKKO network is certified and sold both in containers and for filling.

As noted by the Department of the non-fuel sales, during recent years the vehicle fleet in Ukraine has been significantly renovated, and accordingly, the demand for AdBlue is growing steadily. Hence, the demand for AdBlue in OKKO network is increasing for about 20% from year to year. Thus far OKKO sold at the stations AdBlue liquid in prepackaged containers and this option will remain.

AdBlue is a special liquid used to purify the exhaust gases of diesel engines. Owing to it, the content of nitrogen oxides in emissions reduces by almost 90%. At the same time, the qualitative indicators of diesel engine performance also improve: efficiency increases, ash content decreases. The use of AdBlue in modern cars is mandatory, and manufacturers equip engine with a separate tank for this liquid.
