OKKO network continues to equip its fuel stations with solar power plants, which are placed on the roof of the station control rooms, and saves on electricity costs of the station's own needs.
In 2023, OKKO network was replenished with 56 new SPPs, and in December there are several more under construction works. This year, the largest number of new solar power plants was introduced in Lviv region - 17. Furthermore, 13 SPPs were installed in Ivano-Frankivsk region, 8 - in Kyiv region, 7 - in Vinnytsia region, 6 - in Zakarpattia region, 3 - in Ternopil region, and 2 - in Chernivtsi region.
As of the beginning of December 2023, the total amount of operating in the network SPPs makes 122 units. All OKKO's rooftop SPPs produced this year more than 2 million kWh of electricity, that helped to save on energy purchases.
In upcoming 2024, OKKO plans to install another 50-70 rooftop SPPs at stations of the network.
