OKKO AND UKLON EXPAND COOPERATION IN INCLUSIVE PROJECT: NOW IN KYIV

OKKO network has provided more than 50 thousand liters of fuel for 6 inclusive taxi cars in Kyiv, which reduces the cost of ride for users of the UKLON service by 12%.

In 2025, the OKKO network and the Ukrainian online taxi service UKLON expanded their partnership to support an inclusive class of cars for passengers who use wheelchairs. In particular, this year OKKO will provide fuel for 6 taxi cars that are currently operating in Kyiv. In total, more than 50 thousand liters of diesel fuel will be allocated for these needs. Last year, more than 1600 Kyiv residents used the inclusive car call service. OKKO's support of the project makes it possible to reduce the cost of transportation for about 12%.

The partnership between OKKO and UKLON started in January 2024, as OKKO network provided UAH 3.5 million to help with purchase and furnishing of 3 inclusive cars in Lviv, as well as provided fuel for 1.5 years. Demand for this service is growing steadily, so the parties agreed to develop it further. Currently, inclusive cars make more than 200 trips a month in Lviv and more than 900 in Kyiv. Customers most often order trips to hospitals, train stations, shopping centers, and cultural institutions.

“It is impossible to solve in one day all the problems of our barrier society, but steadily and systematically, we will achieve good results. This project is an example of joint work of responsible companies, showing how can partnership create an inclusive space in the country, outside our offices, gas stations, etc. After all, we all have to live here, our children and veterans will live here. Last year, we joined the project with cars and fuel in Lviv, and now we are supporting the project with fuel in Kyiv. On one hand it is a useful cause and on the other it’s a logical continuation of our social responsibility program,” said YAROSLAVA POLYAKOVA, OKKO'S CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR.

Rides can be ordered in borders of Lviv and Kyiv and in the vicinity of these cities - up to 20 kilometers radius. In 2024, 2,212 trips were made in Lviv as part of this service with a total mileage of 17,282 kilometers, and in Kyiv, 10,961 orders were provided during the same period, with a mileage of 146,430 kilometers (distance of orders).

The inclusive class vehicles are furnished with everything necessary for safe and comfortable transportation of passengers with musculoskeletal disorders. In particular, they are equipped with hydraulic or mechanical lifts, ramps, special seat belts, and wheelchair fixings.

Transportation services in such cars are provided by professional drivers who completed special customer service training by Dostupno.UA initiative. In addition to transportation, drivers help to carry luggage or personal belongings if the passenger travels alone.
