OKKO has joined the initiative of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and will finance an additional* 20,000 transportations of medical workers through Uber service, 20,000 trough Uklon service and 10,000 through Bolt service.
“Our company has decided not to stop there. We managed to buy eight mechanical ventilators abroad. Four of which will soon be transferred to the Stryi hospital, which has been identified as key for several areas in the treatment of coronavirus patients. Four more –to the hospitals of Lviv”, commented the founder of OKKO Group Vitaliy Antonov.
The free Uber service for medical staff is already available in Kyiv and Lviv. Odesa, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Zaporizhia and Vinnytsia are next. The medical institutions participating in the initiative are selected by the Ministry of Health and local governments. The list of institutions is constantly updated on the company’s website. This offer of the Uklon service is already working in Lviv, in the process of launch –Kherson, Dnipro, Odesa, Mariupol and Mykolaiv. The service has the largest coverage and plans to connect 13 cities to the program.
Medical workers in Lviv and Kyiv already enjoy free trips from Bolt service. Thanks to OKKO’s additional investments, the company is expanding its coverage. Odesa and Kharkiv will join the list in the near future.
*Earlier, the Ministry of Health, local governments and Uber on a free transfer for medical workers to work during the quarantine. The agreement provided for the implementation of 10,000 transportations. With the support of OKKO, the number of transportations was increased to 30,000.
