OKKO network and foundation of competent assistance to Army “COME BACK ALIVE” completed raising of UAH 325 million for 25 SHARK intelligence complexes for the Armed forces of Ukraine.
The initiative "OKO za OKO” (Eye for an Eye) started in November 2022. OKKO transferred 1 hryvnia from every sold liter of Pulls fuel to SHARK initiative. In addition, everyone could join this initiative with every possible sum via special fundraising account.
"We finally did it. Thanks to each one of millions of drivers throughout Ukraine. Altogether we were able to quickly accumulate the necessary sum on intelligence complexes, that will strengthen the Army. Literally every week the counter showed plus one new SHARK. And these involvement and support are so impressive, - commented Vasyl Danylyak, CEO of OKKO. - You people encourage us not to stop. So today we sum up the results of this initiative, and tomorrow we will start a new one, equally large-scale project to help the Armed Forces together with "COME BACK ALIVE" and you.
"Millions of Ukrainians accompanied our joint project to help the Army, and we are grateful to everyone," said Taras Chmut, director of "COME BACK ALIVE ". — The first one complex SHARK is already serving in the Armed Forces. And soon the remaining 24 sets will conduct their reconnaissance work along the entire frontline. They will track the movements of enemies and adjust artillery fire to a depth of up to 60 kilometers. This means they will save the lives of our defenders and bring closer our victory in this war with Russia. Very important is the fact that it’s not just separate drones, but self-sufficient autonomous complexes in a four-wheel drive minibus specially designed for the features of their work by the Foundation team. This significantly increases the mobility, capabilities of the crews and ensures their safety."
We remind that each of the 25 SHARK complexes are worth UAH 13 million and includes a four-wheel drive vehicle from Pulsar Expo - Torsus Terrastorm, that is equipped with a control point, a launcher and two UAVs from Ukrspecsystems. The UAVs have a wingspan of 3.4 m, air operation mode up to 4 hours and resistance to electronic warfare technologies. UAVs’ cameras have opportunity to perform adaptive tracking of target, even at its speed of 100 km/h.
As part of the initiative, the Army will also purchase 25 reserve drones so that lost or damaged during the missions drones can be replaced in time. While the fundraising was going on, 25 crews were also being trained to control the UAV.
