OKKO Group has commenced the construction of the first hotel complex at the GORO Mountain Resort, a premier mountain resort in the Lviv Carpathians. The project, spanning a total area of 48,000 square meters, will feature three designer hotels with 415 rooms. Of this space, 11,000 square meters are dedicated to commercial and entertainment infrastructure.
This complex is one of five hotel complexes in the initial phase of the GORO project, which will ultimately encompass nine hotels with over 1,100 rooms. The resort will boast extensive recreational facilities, including spa areas, swimming pools, restaurants, children's zones, and business spaces.
GORO Development, an investment and real estate development company within OKKO Group, manages the development of the resort’s hospitality properties. The company oversees architectural planning, construction, operational functionality, and investment attraction in the hotel business. Over the next 15 years, GORO Development aims to construct 25 hotels with 5,150 rooms across the resort. The first phase is scheduled to be completed in 2028–2029.
"The construction of the first hotel complex marks a strategically significant step in realising the comprehensive vision of an all-season, internationally recognised resort. According to the master plan, developed in collaboration with Austrian experts, a well-balanced integration of mountain, ski, hotel, and entertainment infrastructure will extend visitors' stays, bringing substantial economic benefits to the entire region. GORO will also become one of Ukraine’s largest recreational and infrastructure projects, reinforcing the country's position on the European tourism map," explained Vasyl Danylyak, CEO of OKKO Group and co-founder of GORO Mountain Resort.
