OKKO Group together with the “Ridni” Charitable Foundation donated mechanical ventilators to hospitals in Lviv and the region

In particular, 8 artificial lung ventilation devices were transferred to the 1^st City Clinical Hospital named after Prince Lev, to the 5^th City Clinical Hospital, the 1^st Maternity Hospital on Mechnikova Street and to the Stryi Central District Hospital.

"In March, at the beginning of quarantine, we clearly understood exactly where we can be useful here and began to work on the implementation. Our company joined the initiative of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and financed 50,000 transportations of medical workers to workplaces through Uber, Uklon, Bolt and Opti services almost all over the country. But we decided not to stop there. They helped medical institutions with protective suits, gloves, and disinfectants. Today we are handing over artificial lung ventilation devices," commented Yaroslavа Poliakovа, Head of the Corporate Communications Department of OKKO.

"Even at the beginning of the quarantine, the "Ridni" Foundation announced an initiative to unite the business to help doctors. After all, each of us should help at such time. Therefore, "Ridni" together with partners purchased protective equipment for doctors: protective suits, goggles, respirators, as well as an X-ray machine, artificial lung ventilation devices, which were transferred to support hospitals in Lviv and the region," said Marta Fedoriv, President of the "Ridni" Foundation.
