OKKO Group will supply Ukrainian consumers with electricity

OKKO Group Holding in the coming months will start trading in electric energy in the Ukrainian market. On March 23, OKKO Contract, a company within the Holding, received a license to conduct business activities in the field of electricity supply. 

"We continue to develop in the direction of a comprehensive energy service company, in which the client will be able to purchase all the necessary energy resources - petroleum products, natural gas, electricity, from one seller," says Vladimir Ostashchuk, head of the new products sales department of OKKO Group. “For our part, we will be able to offer the buyer attractive package proposals and the most convenient calculation mechanics. And cooperation with an economically powerful business group, in turn, guarantees the reliability in fulfilling its obligations." 

According to Volodymyr Ostashchuk, the company is now completing the procedure for entering the electricity market and has started preliminary negotiations with potential partners. The holding will carry out transactions related to the trading of electric energy in those market segments, created by the law on the liberalization of the energy market in Ukraine.

At the same time, OKKO Group plans to develop its own solar power generation capacity. As previously reported, by the end of 2018, solar panels and generating equipment with a total capacity of 200 kW will be installed on the roof and facade of the central office of the holding in Lviv.
