OKKO HELPS WITH FUEL TO CHERNIHIV AND DEOCCUPIED TOWNS IN KYIV REGION

OKKO network launched the next, already fourth, project to help those who defend or rebuild our country and also to those who suffered from war. The company allocated 220,000 liters of fuel for the needs of restoring the infrastructure of Chernihiv and a number of towns in Kyiv region - Irpin, Gostomel, Bucha, Vorzel, Borodyanka.

As a part of this initiative at the end of May OKKO shipped the first batches of oil products. This project will last two months. The amount of this targeted assistance will exceed 12 million UAH. But local communities will receive this fuel for free.

"Bucha, Irpin, Chernihiv and the rest of aid recipients are not just geographical names for all the Ukrainians, they all are hero towns. They faced a lot of grieve and suffered from destruction during massive Russian shelling and temporary occupation. Now when the enemy is repelled, we want to join recovery of these towns and villages," said Yaroslava Polyakova, the Head of OKKO’s corporate communications department.

We remind, that from the first days of the war, OKKO started a partnership with Come back alive Foundation, which has been helping the Armed Forces of Ukraine for many years. OKKO continues to provide fuel to volunteer and public organizations that evacuate civilians from combat areas, transport humanitarian aid, etc. Aid in the form of fuel was also received by State Emergency Service units, medical corps, other state and private enterprises and organizations that ensure the vital activities of the country. In addition, free hot dogs and coffee are presented to Ukrainian defenders serving in the combat zones.

The total amount of help provided by OKKO for the needs of defense and support for war victims makes UAH 47.9 million.
