OKKO JOINED THE COMMUNITY "BUSINESS WITHOUT BARRIERS"

OKKO company has become a member of the "BUSINESS WITHOUT BARRIERS" community, as more than 30 large businesses from various industries have united around the initiative of the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska.

The signing of the declaration took place at the final meeting of the community participants chaired by the First Lady, with the participation of the First Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Economy Yulia Svyridenko and the head of the Coordination Center for Mental Health of the CMU Oksana Zbitneva.

Members of the community – retail, banking, energy, transport companies, etc. – have joined their forces to create a society where people are the main value. Accessibility should become a part of every company's strategy to take into account the interests of all people.

"In fact, OKKO has been implementing barrier-free principles at the network facilities for more than 15 years. We eager to ensure the comfort and availability of our services for various categories of customers. We have ramps, wide sliding entrance doors, toilets for people using wheelchairs, special marked parking lots; for young parents and their little ones we provide changing and feeding tables. Since 2016, OKKO's central office in Lviv has opened a children's room, where every employee of the office can bring their child and leave it under the supervision of a competent caregiver. Inclusivity, barrier-free access and psychological support of employees are an integral part of OKKO's corporate policy, currently we have joined forces with other companies to implement this culture at the national level," said Yaroslava Polyakova, OKKO's head of the corporate communications department.
