OKKO Agrotrade has financed the agroindustrial producers with almost 1 billion UAH

In the current marketing year OKKO Agrotrade, a member of the holding company OKKO Group, has 2 times increased the amount of financing of agricultural producers in the framework of its forward program. For timely fieldwork, agrarians were provided with almost 1 billion hryvnias, both directly by cash and by commodity deliveries of mineral fertilizers and fuel.

The forward program of OKKO Agrotrade provides that producers pay for the received resources with the products of the future harvest. The relevant arrangements are issued by an agrarian receipt or a pledge agreement (for program details see here). As a result of such cooperation, OKKO Agrotrade plans to sell agricultural products mainly for export.

"During three years of active work in the agroindustrial complex, we are dynamically developing and expanding our range of offers," says Alexander Nikolenko, General Director of OKKO Agrotrade. “If last year we provided our partners only with fuel and mineral fertilizers, then this season we have a new tool – the money. At the same time, we significantly simplified the contractual procedure and reduced the time for consideration of customer requests - a preliminary decision on cooperation can be taken within 1 day, the final one - within 5 days. We are pleased that the customers with whom we started cooperation a year or two ago, continues our partnerships".

OKKO Agrotrade is one of the business units of the OKKO Group holding, established in 2016 with a view to comprehensively meeting the needs of agribusiness in finance, fuel, and mineral fertilizers. Today, more than 200 agribusinesses participate of the OKKO Agrotrade forward program, ranging from large companies with a few thousand hectares to farmers with 500 hectares.
