Agrotrade will fund farmers for UAH 3 bln on simplified terms

Last year, OKKO Agrotrade, a member of the OKKO Group Holding, received applications for more than UAH 1 billion for its forward support program for agricultural producers. In the new season, it plans to increase it three times - up to UAH 3 billion. The significant simplification of the conditions for obtaining material and financial resources from OKKO-Agrotrade will allow such increase.

"We significantly simplified the contractual procedure and reduced the time for consideration of customer requests. Now the preliminary decision on cooperation can be taken within 1 day, the final - within 5 days, - explains Alexander Nikolenko, General Director of OKKO Agrotrade. - Besides, if last year we provided our partners only with fuel and mineral fertilizers, this year we also provide funds directly. In the long run, our goal is to cover all 100% of the material and financial needs of agribusiness enterprises in the framework of the forward program. "

 The forward program assumes that for the received resource agrarians pay back not immediately, but with the products of the future harvest. The relevant arrangements are issued by an agrarian note or a pledge agreement. 

Last year, OKKO Agrotrade exported 500 thousand tons of products, of which 230 thousand tons were received with the forward program of the company. Mostly it is grain crops, but at the same time, the company cooperates with producers of rapeseed, buckwheat, peas and the like.
