On February 7, OKKO filling complexes network launched it’s annual national project launched "I beg you, live! Road safety. This time the company urges drivers and pedestrians to stop using smartphones and other gadgets in traffic. Thanks to a specially designed VR test, visitors of OKKO in 5 cities across the country and on the station on the Kyiv-Odessa highway, will experience what consequences can texting, shooting stories and surfing on the Internet cause to road users. Tours across Ukrainian cities will continue until the end of March.
"The statistics of the World Health Organization say that on average every fourth accident in the world is caused by the distraction of the attention of drivers and pedestrians. We loose attentiveness because we what to check our phones. Unfortunately, in Ukraine, the problem is as relevant as around the world. To convince you, it's enough to just look around. That is why this year we have chosen the topic of non-use of our gadgets, - said Yaroslava Polyakova, Head of the Corporate Communications Department of OKKO filling stations network. - We very much hope that our Blagun and his call "I beg you, no distraction" make us think of each of us - and the temporary "digital detox" will grow into a permanent rule of life. "
In Kyiv, the project has started on three filling stations in the same time - Academician of Palladin Ave. 33, General Vatutina Ave. 5, and Dniprovska Naberezhna Str. 8. The plans cover filling stations in Lviv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Odessa and on the route Kyiv-Odessa.
The visitors the listed complexes In each city will be able to immerse themselves in the virtual world of traffic and take part in the educational test, using special equipment. The script is designed in such a way that the viewer can independently choose the options for the development of the story and the influence the final. Guests will need up to 8 minutes to go through all possible situations.
