Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, OKKO network has provided the Armed Forces of Ukraine with a number of specific vehicles such as: 8 truck tractors, 7 semi-trailer fuel tanks and 2 aircraft refueling semi-trailers. Thanks to this machinery, the logistics of fuel provision can be organized on a better level.
‘’Our technical specialists conducted thorough inspection of every transport unit, before it was handed over to the Armed forces, every vehicle was repaired if necessary, the tires and other components were changed. The cost of such preparatory works can reach from 10,000 USD per 1 unit, depending on the complexity and configuration of the vehicle. Defenders received cars fully on the move, ready from the first days to perform the tasks," commented Andrii Manulyak, OKKO’s head of the transportation support department.
The last transfer took place this February, when the 228th separate logistics battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received from OKKO a tank truck Everlast with a volume of 35 cubic meters. According to the commander of the unit, such a large-tonnage tank can cover the fuel needs of one tank battalion and will replace several smaller fuel tankers.
