ALMOST 94 TONS OF AID FOR INTERNALLY DISPLACED PEOPLE

In the first half of 2022 customers and employees of OKKO network collected into charity boxes about 94 tons of used things. Clothes, shoes and bed-linen were donated to the needs of displaced people and citizens affected during the hostilities. These containers are located at the number of filling stations of the OKKO network.

200 families in Borodyanka, Brovary and other towns in Kyiv Region have already received this help. The distribution of this aid was also organized in the Refugee centers in Dnipro and Dnipropetrovsk region. In Lviv, internally displaced people, low-income families and homeless people can receive collected items upon request. OKKO's partners in this project are charitable foundations Emaus-Oselya and Good Samaritan, they have undertaken sorting and distribution of collected items to those in need.

"Please, remember that any help is important now. We cannot stay away from the problems of those people who were forced to leave their homes and start their lives anew. We thank everyone who joins charity and donates things to those in need",said Yaroslava Polyakova, the Head of OKKO's corporate communications department.

Currently, 26 containers continue to operate in OKKO network - 9 each in Lviv and Kyiv, 3 containers are installed in Dnipro, two each in Odesa and Zaporizhzhia, and one in Kharkiv. It is neither the first nor sole social project of OKKO that proceeds today. Only during the period of February-May, the total amount of aid provided by OKKO for the needs of defense and support has already amounted to more than UAH 50 million.
