"Today OKKO is among the largest taxpayers in Ukraine. Honest payment of taxes is the duty of every Ukrainian business during the war to strengthen the defense capacity of the state. Therefore, when someone tries to evade this duty, in particular in our fuel industry, it is unacceptable neither in terms of fair competition nor in terms of a civil position," - commented Vasyl Danylyak, OKKO’s CEO.
He also added, that a responsible and patriotic business, not just pay taxes, but also should direct additional available resources to support the Armed Forces and the reconstruction of Ukraine.
In particular, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, OKKO has already transferred more than UAH 1.3 billion for such needs and will continue to do so. Already in February, it is expected a new large-scale initiative of OKKO and "COME BACK ALIVE" Foundation, which will strengthen the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
