THE FIRST QUARTER OF 2024 INDICATED 45% MORE TAXES THAN A YEAR AGO - OKKO

According to the operational results in the first quarter of 2024, OKKO Group of companies paid UAH 4.619 billion to the budget and state funds, which makes 45% more than it was paid in the same period in 2023.

“The rate of paid taxes shows that our company steadily operates, develops and, as ever, honestly and responsibly fulfills its duties, even in wartime and in these current difficult economic conditions. We realize that every hryvnia we pay strengthens Ukraine's defense abilities. However, we have never limited ourselves to taxes. From the first days of the full-scale war to the present day, we have been actively and systematically supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine, joining the country's reconstruction projects and socially important initiatives. As of April 1, 2024, the amount of such assistance has already exceeded UAH 1.6 billion,” SAID OKKO VICE PRESIDENT FOR FINANCE NAZAR KUPYBIDA.

In the first quarter of 2024, the Group of companies paid UAH 0.867 billion of taxes and duties directly from operating activities. This includes income tax, VAT (not including taxes for customs clearance), retail excise, personal income tax, military duty, land payment, and unified social tax. In addition, UAH 3.752 billion was paid on imports of goods to Ukraine.

Payment of operating taxes per 1 liter of sold fuel in OKKO network increased to UAH 2.71 in the first quarter of 2024. For comparison, the same figure for the first quarter of 2023 was UAH 2.28 per liter. The level of tax payments per 1 filling station of the network has also increased. In the first quarter of 2024, it amounted to UAH 728.01 thousand per month, and in the first quarter of 2023 it was UAH 710.28 thousand per month.

If we take into account the total payment of the unified social tax (ESV), personal income tax (PDFO) and military duty (VZ), then in the first quarter of 2024, each OKKO employee accounted for UAH 27,637 of such payments, and in terms of one month - UAH 9,212.

We remind, that OKKO Group of companies in 2023 paid UAH 15.591 billion in taxes.
